Job Summary
Maintain MMS PM System data and reporting while analyzing information for maintenance planning and scheduling. Schedule building, instrument, and project maintenance, filling in when others are absent. Develop enterprise-wide best practice preventative maintenance and review work orders to optimize equipment reliability. Identify and label new equipment per Tyson standards and utilize Key Performance Indicators for feedback. Plan maintenance considering skill and safety training, review SAP data from other locations, and administer shift scheduling and work order backlogs. Author and maintain CIR projects and reports, communicate with management and vendors, and follow up on project progress.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years in-house mechanical experience
- Knowledge of parts room procedures and policies
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- 1 to 5 trips per year
- Willingness to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Desired Qualifications
- Special training in maintenance or post-high school education
