Maintenance Planner - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Develop executable work packages by defining processes, materials, tools, permits, and labor requirements while creating time-phased execution plans aligned with Reliability Excellence standards. Update and adjust existing job plans and equipment data to maintain accurate files, and spend time on the production floor inspecting work sites for safety and process compliance. Manage Parts Room inventory by ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing parts, while identifying duplicate or obsolete items and coordinating special orders. Enter and track work orders, and review SAP/Maximo data to optimize equipment reliability and maintenance labor utilization.
Required Qualifications
- Further technical education beyond high school or vocational training
- Specialized training or education (post-high school) in maintenance
- 5+ years experience
- Strong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of standard software applications such as Microsoft Office
- Valid state driver's license
- Able to be certified to use a pallet jack and forlift
- Ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities
- Ability to be exposed to all chemicals found in a poultry processing operation and a wastewater treatment facility
- Ability to wear and/or use protective safety equipment required for the job and for various locations
- Ability to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Specialized training or education (post-high school) in maintenance is preferred
- 5+ years preferred
