Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment to minimize downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems while responding promptly to guest, staff, and management requests. Conduct regular safety inspections of fire alarms, emergency lighting, elevators, and generators, then coordinate with contractors for emergency repairs and renovations. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Minimum one year of general building maintenance experience required; this physically demanding role involves extended periods of walking, standing, and lifting. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade profession
- Solid experience performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment
- General carpentry skills
- Knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools

- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
