Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to implement effective repairs, then respond promptly to guest, staff, and management requests while prioritizing tasks by urgency. Conduct regular inspections of fire alarms, emergency lighting, elevators, and generators to ensure safety compliance, and maintain accurate records of all activities and equipment performance. Address emergency situations such as power outages and plumbing leaks to minimize operational disruptions, coordinating with departments and contractors as needed. Assist with renovations and equipment upgrades to enhance the guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade profession
- Solid experience performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment
- General carpentry skills
- Knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools
- Provide high-level customer service
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Follow instructions
