Job Summary
Respond promptly to guest requests and work orders for routine and emergency maintenance, performing general tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC care. Conduct preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas while troubleshooting minor issues with furniture, fixtures, and electronics. Assist in exterior area maintenance for parking lots, landscaping, and pool zones, and maintain the shop, tools, and storage areas. Follow OSHA and hotel-specific safety protocols when handling equipment and materials. Communicate hazards immediately and support other departments with operations tasks such as moving furniture or delivering guest items. Greet guests courteously in guest-facing areas and adhere to proper room entry procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry repairs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must poses a valid unrestricted driver's license
- Successful completion of criminal background investigation
