Job Summary
Perform major repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure hotel quality standards. Clean the pool area and exercise room, keep grounds clear of trash, and thoroughly clean parking lots, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrances including weed removal. Report and fix safety hazards, verify exterior lights, and ensure adequate stockroom inventory and housekeeping supplies on each floor. Maintain a clean storage area daily and lock all areas before clocking out. Address problems interfering with guest satisfaction and complete other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
Desired Qualifications
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
- An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
