Job Summary
Monitor and resolve CMMS inventory transactional activities, utilizing cycle counting to account for miscellaneous inventory transactions and investigating discrepancies to improve accuracy. Solve issues with maintenance spare parts by working closely with Plant Purchasing, Receiving, and the Help Desk to resolve variances. Coordinate and investigate all cycle counts, complete monthly account reconciliations, and facilitate receiving parts while inspecting them against the original order. Investigate and correct negative transfers, and assist with physical inventories. Recommend solutions to improve inventory accuracy based on investigation findings. This role requires a high school diploma, 2-4 years of manufacturing experience, and mechanical aptitude for rebuilding small hand tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of the material process flow
- Ability to manage small to medium-sized projects
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in mathematical calculation
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to rebuild small hand tools
- Good mechanical aptitude with understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic spare parts programs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in materials and/or receiving
- Proficiency in Oracle
- Proficiency in CMMS
