Job Summary
Plant Maintenance/Utility Person to support production and maintenance at Hazleton Quarry. The ideal candidate is safety focused, action oriented, pays attention to detail, and excels at teamwork. Responsibilities include performing plant maintenance, keeping work areas clean, learning plant functions, cross-training to cover multiple roles, taking direction from site personnel, and working with a team to substitute tasks as needed while following MSHA and H&K safety policies. A CDL license is not required; pre-employment drug testing is part of EOE practices. 100% company-paid health benefits, tuition reimbursement, and other training programs are offered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or related experience
- 1+ years quarry experience
- 1+ years welding experience or equivalent training
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to fit test & utilize PPE
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting)
- Experience operating heavy equipment (preferred)
- MSHA or other safety certification (preferred)
