Job Summary
Maintenance Operator II at The Gund Company performing general maintenance on production equipment and building infrastructure to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include installing, repairing and maintaining high voltage electrical systems, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs on manual and CNC equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, following work instructions, completing PM work orders, updating spare parts, participating in cross-training, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring safety and quality standards, and collaborating with contracted repair personnel. Must be capable of independent work, communicating priorities, and adapting to emergency orders; requires an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or similar hands-on training and prior manufacturing experience; strong math skills, ability to read schematics, and the ability to work overtime. English is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- TSU or Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training
- Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred
- Very good math skills
- Ability to understand schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and plumbing breakdowns
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- English desirable
