Job Summary
Maintenance Operator at ABB PMA (On-site, Uster, Switzerland) responsible for operating process plants or machines to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished products, following established workflows, ABB standard processes, and safety guidelines. Performs routine machine adjustments, settings, repairs, and exchanges of simple spare parts. Ensures regular standard maintenance of equipment, tool setup, programming, fault diagnosis, and documenting machine settings, repairs, and maintenance. Monitors and documents released and defective units as well as end products. Join a dynamic team and contribute to safer, cleaner, and more efficient production environments. Requires completed vocational training (EFZ) in a related technical field and several years of experience, SAP familiarity, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung (EFZ) als Polymechaniker/in, Automatiker/in oder vergleichbar
- mehrjährige Berufserfahrung oder Ausbildung als Instandhaltungstechniker/in, Instandhaltungsmechaniker/in oder Maschinenmechaniker/in
- Erfahrung in der Wartung von Produktionsanlagen
- Grundkenntnisse relevanter Software (z. B. SAP)
- Erfahrung in vorausschauender Wartung sowie in der Umsetzung von kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprozessen
- Kommunikationsstärke und Hilfsbereitschaft
- Selbstständige und verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise
- Flexible, teamorientierte Persönlichkeit mit Hands-on-Mentalität
- Grundkenntnisse in Englisch
