Job Summary
Process reactive maintenance jobs via StuRents, diagnosing issues and keeping residents informed. Identify and rectify day-to-day tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and gardening. Carry out daily building walks to ensure communal areas, grounds, and plant rooms are free from hazards and rubbish. Maintain Fire and Water Log books, conduct statutory compliance checks, and assist contractors on-site. Monitor StuRents daily, record repairs, and manage end-of-tenancy check-outs and turnarounds. Liaise with third-party contractors, coordinate site access, and work with the Senior Property Manager to manage cost controls and profitability. Deliver high-standard service through proactive engagement with students.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on property maintenance experience
- Good all round understanding of statutory maintenance requirements (Fire, water regs etc)
- IT reporting skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
