Maintenance Operations Specialist (Oil & Gas Production)

Job Summary
Oversee testing and monitoring of wells, pumps, storage facilities, and equipment while managing daily activities of Maintenance Technicians. Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely by enforcing Permit to Work systems and reporting safety breaches to supervision. Coordinate planning and implementation of maintenance work to maintain adequate spares, liaising with onshore engineers to ensure processes and equipment function efficiently. Monitor systems for required performance, actively participate in emergency response teams, and promote company health and safety campaigns. Requires high school diploma, Wellview software experience, and proven maintenance experience. Full-time role in Odessa, TX with health benefits, 401k, and vacation.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- High School diploma or GED
- Software experience with Wellview
- Computer skills
- Proven experience in maintenance
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
- Understanding of budgeting and performance management
- Excellent planning and leadership abilities
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates
- An eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
