Job Summary
Lead equipment maintenance teams and execute daily production plans, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and business standards. Drive key performance metrics including downtime percentage, mean time between failures, and PM completion rates while troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating resource scheduling. Monitor adherence to Lean Production Meetings and daily goals, applying optimization methodologies to balance inventory and mitigate risks. Support training for technicians, facilitate continuous improvement projects, and maintain visual management systems for equipment inventory and metrics. Work 3rd shift (11pm - 7am) to support GE Vernova's mission of accelerating reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline from an accredited university or college
- High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in industrial maintenance environment
- 2-3 years in a Maintenance Technician role
- Minimum 2 years in Maintenance CNC experience
- Ability to work 3rd shift (11pm - 7am), with or without reasonable accommodation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously while managing daily responsibilities
- Demonstrate effective problem identification and solution skills
- Proven analytical electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting ability
- Employment authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable)
Desired Qualifications
- SAP/BMS and CMMS (Central Maintenance Management System) is preferred
