Job Summary
Perform apartment and room maintenance checks, repairs, and minor projects while executing preventative maintenance inspections. Manage reactive maintenance via the MEX system, close work orders, and assist in managing the assets register and material stocktake. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Sales, and Front Office to complete room deep cleans and ensure minimal guest disruption. Respond promptly to guest requests, comply with health and safety protocols, and contribute to the Wyndham Green energy-saving initiatives. Maintain a catalogue of required materials and support the Maintenance Team's productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance and electrical repairs as legally allowed
- Ability to use and care for tools and equipment
- Available on-call
- Ability to perform routine maintenance of pool and spa
- Ability to work effectively and productively in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Actively participate in reactive, preventative and capex works using MEX as a CMMS
- Encourage team work
- Effectively interact with the resort/departmental managers and their teams
- Communicate effectively with staff and guests
- Recognise and solve problems in the workplace
- Hold a valid Driver's licence
- Moderate computer skills to be able to interact with MEX on a daily basis, receive and send emails with photos and attachments
- Supply details and comments in Word format
- Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines without compromising quality
- modderate time management and organizational skills
- Display an effective degree of professionalism
