Job Summary
Maintenance Officer at Ocean Gardens responsible for upkeep, repair, and enhancement of facilities and equipment. Performs building maintenance, minor refurbishments (painting and general repairs), manages preventive maintenance, responds to repair requests, maintains village pool and oversees servicing of vehicles, supervises contractors to meet required standards, ensures safe storage and handling of chemicals, maintains accurate maintenance records, and supports Safety and Risk Management programs. Requires hands-on maintenance experience, ability to work independently and with a team, strong safety/Chemical handling knowledge, good interpersonal skills, customer-service mindset, basic computer literacy, a current driver’s licence, National Police Check, and fitness for duty verified by a medical assessment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance and handyman duties
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong knowledge of safe workplace practices and chemical handling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality customer service
- Basic computer literacy
- A current driver’s licence and National Police Check (not older than three months)
- Fit for duty, as confirmed by a pre-employment medical assessment
