Job Summary
Maintenance Officer responsible for ensuring the property's appearance and condition are well-maintained by performing general maintenance and handyman tasks. Communicates with customers to understand their needs and liaises with external contractors to provide specialised services. Conducts regular inspections, follows health and safety protocols, and ensures work meets trade and Australian standards. Performs general maintenance tasks such as painting, plaster patching, window and door repairs; inspects properties; assists with basic handyperson tasks including minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical services; coordinates with external vendors and contractors for specialised repairs and maintenance services; ensures safety of all residents, visitors and contractors by implementing and adhering to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures.
