Job Summary
Maintenance of Traffic laborer responsible for setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, installation and service of work-zone signs and lights, coordinating MOT activities with on-site client representatives, loading/unloading equipment, and delivering/picking up equipment from job sites. May operate a company vehicle if approved. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with MOT guidelines, completing daily paperwork, and maintaining safety in a highway construction work zone. Requires prior MOT/flagger experience or certification; High School Diploma or GED; ability to communicate clearly; overtime and variable schedule expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic / Temporary Traffic Control or related industry
- Advanced MOT Certification / TSSA Flagger Certification preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
- Valid license and be able to operate company vehicle (if approved)
- Drug screening and background check clearance

- Physical ability to perform job duties including outdoor work in high speed traffic areas
- Driving/ Motor Vehicle Record acceptable per company standards
