Job Summary
Perform temporary traffic control operations on roadway construction projects, including setting up and maintaining MOT devices, signs, and lights; coordinate detours and lane closures; load/unload equipment; transport equipment to customer sites; communicate with on-site client representatives; complete daily paperwork; and ensure compliance with MOT guidelines and safety standards. May operate a company vehicle if approved for driving duties. Requires ability to work in varying outdoor conditions, with overtime, night shifts, and weekend hours possible. Requires at least a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of MOT/temporary traffic control experience; Advanced MOT certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic / Temporary Traffic Control or related industry
- Clear communication (written and verbal)
- Possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license if driving duties are assigned
- Ability to pass initial drug screening & background check
- Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
