Maintenance

Perform maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment by following blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings. Visually inspect and test using electrical and electronic test equipment, listen for unusual sounds, and discuss machine operation with coworkers. Dismantle machines, install new or required parts per specifications, and repair hydraulic and electrical systems. Maintain and repair cranes, forklifts, saws, chain saws, gas/diesel equipment, torch tables, motors, racks, welders, and other tools; clean and lubricate components; fabricate steel, wood and other materials to assist in plant safety and operation. Use hand and power tools to fabricate structures, benches, and partitions. Follow OSHA and ANSI standards to ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Perform outdoor maintenance (snow removal, grounds/landscape upkeep, housekeeping, road grading) and enter completed work into the database in a timely manner. May be on-call 24 hours. Must know how to operate the equipment they work on. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
