Job Summary
Troubleshoot and replace 3-phase motors, VFDs, and electrical control circuits while reading schematics and interpreting machine drawings. Repair and rebuild mechanical components, fabricate equipment to meet production schedules, and resolve quality and production issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and safety circuits. Use meters and meggers proficiently for diagnostics and identify worn bushings or bearings as needed. Communicate maintenance situations clearly across shifts and participate in continuous improvement for safety, quality, and housekeeping. Perform installation, modification, and fabrication of equipment to support production goals.
Required Qualifications
- Strong industrial electrical experience
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience repairing and troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, Conveyers, 3 p-phase motors, variable speed drivers and controls
- Ability to work with minimal supervision within a team environment
- Good practical sense working with and troubleshooting equipment problems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous food manufacturing experience
