Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic responsible for general mechanical maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Performs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance; repairs HVAC, chiller, boiler, plumbing, compressed air, and humidification systems; tests boiler feed water; conducts basic welding, brazing, and cutting; fabricates items such as guardrails, brackets, and hangers; paints and repairs interior/exterior building features; uses precision measuring tools (rulers, calipers, micrometers); operates machine tools (lathe, grinder, drill press, mill) to repair or fabricate parts; troubleshoots electrical/electronic problems; inspects and tests fire alarms and pumps; maintains maintenance records; supports recycling programs; operates scissors and forklifts; participates in safety programs and RTW processes; offers a starting rate of $27.91 per hour with benefits including health/dental/vision, FSA/HSA, retirement plans, paid leave, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- Ability to properly use rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Working knowledge of AC/DC motors
- Training in basic electrical and mechanical safety
- Basic computer experience
- Knowledge of the safe use of hand tools and small power tools
- Ability to pass color vision and color‐hue testing
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
