Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic position in a steel-toe environment focused on diagnosing and repairing production/manufacturing equipment, performing preventive maintenance per manufacturer specs, upgrading equipment, maintaining inventories, generating maintenance reports, and contributing to team efforts. Requires 5-7 years of electrical/mechanical experience in manufacturing, strong electrical troubleshooting (AC/DC), PLC, pneumatics, pumps, hydraulics, and LOTO knowledge; preferred experience with ammonia refrigeration, cooling towers, boilers.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum 5-7 years past experience as an electrical/mechanical technician in a manufacturing environment
- Basic electrical systems (e.g. starters, fuses, contacts, relays)
- Strong electrical (AC and DC), electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills with emphasis on electrical
- PLC, pneumatics, pumps, and hydraulics experience
- Adept at reading electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics
- Good understanding of lockout tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Welding, ammonia refrigeration, cooling towers, and/or boiler steam distribution systems experience preferred
