Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation in a night-shift, industrial environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting machinery and equipment; performing changeovers and preventative maintenance on plant equipment; rebuilding presses and support equipment as needed; safely operating and maintaining hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment; documenting maintenance activities using the CMMS system; assisting with new machine setup and testing to ensure readiness and safety; collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with supervisors; and carrying out additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or mechanic experience
- Technical degree or equivalent schooling/experience preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or machinist background
- Ability to read mechanical prints and troubleshoot motors and controls
- PLC knowledge is a plus
- Pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and employment verification
