Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of mechanical equipment and facilities by performing repairs and preventive maintenance. Key tasks include diagnosing mechanical problems, using a variety of hand and power tools for repairs, conducting routine inspections, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities. Applicants should be skilled in mechanical repair, electrical and electronic components, and familiarity with quality control processes. The position offers a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday with a competitive hourly wage and benefits after 30 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with pipe fitting, boiler making, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, and repairing electrical or mechanical equipment.
- Ability to follow operating procedures and quality control processes.
- Strong communication skills to provide information to supervisors and co-workers.
