Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic at Verde Farms supports the maintenance team to keep equipment and building systems operating at peak efficiencies, including site fire alarm and fire suppression systems, safety, and facilities. Responsibilities include inspecting and performing preventive and routine maintenance, responding to emergencies, installing and relocating furniture and workstations, completing work orders, repairing plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting; diagnosing and repairing failures; using hand and power tools, meters, and material-handling equipment; communicating with other departments; documenting information per SOPs; conducting facility inspections; maintaining parts and supplies inventory, identifying process-improvement opportunities, and safely operating a QC water jet. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of facilities maintenance experience, strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test; bilingual Spanish is a plus, with potential overtime based on business demands.
