Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems, including hydraulic presses, shears, cranes, welders, and mechanical clutches. Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems while installing new equipment and executing major repairs. Diagnose issues through testing, inspection, and reassembly using diagnostic tools, and read blueprints and schematics to guide repairs. Fabricate fixtures as needed and coordinate activities with production and support departments. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in on-call rotations, supporting facility maintenance and production demands through overtime when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or maintenance environments
- Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and implement effective solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook or similar programs
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to obtain required equipment certifications, including forklift and overhead crane operations where applicable
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call rotation as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training in industrial maintenance or machine repair
- Experience with CNC equipment, machining, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or metal fabrication
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical blueprints
- Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
- Welding experience with steel and aluminum
- Experience with mills, lathes, and machine shop equipment
- Experience with plumbing systems, including water and natural gas
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
