Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic role performing maintenance on machine tools, plant equipment, and buildings under minimal supervision. Duties include following written instructions and manuals, performing plumbing, light carpentry, facility maintenance and lighting, operating a high lift or forklift as needed, assisting in moving parts/materials, maintaining logs and preventive maintenance records, adhering to safety regulations, and coordinating with other departments. Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to drive company vehicles for parts/personnel transport, and capacity to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs occasionally); field involves both indoor and outdoor work and may include snow removal. Must arrive on time and communicate professionally with team; must comply with related tasks as assigned by supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or Associates degree
- 5-7 years’ experience in production or job shop environment with at least 5 years related experience in maintenance
- Must be a licensed Black Seal Boiler Mechanic
- Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
