Job Summary
Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, highlifts, and forklifts to ensure day and night operations remain functional. Review equipment reports, record repair actions, and maintain preventative maintenance logs per company policy. Comply with all safety guidelines including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and secure the battery-charging area. Manage company tools, inventory, and storage while performing light maintenance duties like painting and rack repairs. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM earning $25.00 per hour with benefits effective day one.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of six months previous mechanic experience
- Knowledge of equipment repair and operation
- Welding ability
- Able to read and write legibly
- Able to follow orders
- Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Able to work with little direct supervision
Desired Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Additional mechanic training
- Trade school degree
