Job Summary
Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, highlifts, and forklifts to ensure day and night operations remain functional. Review equipment reports, record repair actions, and maintain preventative maintenance logs per company policy. Comply with all safety guidelines regarding lock out/tag out procedures and secure the battery-charging area. Manage company tools through inventory maintenance and safe storage, purchasing additional equipment needs from local vendors when authorized. Conduct light maintenance duties such as light bulb replacement, painting, and basic structural repairs. Requires six months of mechanic experience and welding ability.
