Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic role responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pallet machinery and woodworking equipment. Responsibilities include servicing machinery, support for infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts per diagrams and manufacturer specifications; ordering supplies; maintaining maintenance records; adhering to safety, CI, and relevant programs; and contributing to a clean, organized work area. Emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, control technology, welding, and hazardous material handling as part of daily operations. The position is based in Coatesville, PA, within a manufacturing environment and involves hands-on mechanical work to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in machine repair or maintenance
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, and welding
- Experience with safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- Demonstrated knowledge of hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures
- Ability to lift and perform physical tasks as required
- Must be at least 18 years old
