Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic at True West Beef processing facility in Jerome, ID. Responsibilities include constructing, maintaining and testing mechanical equipment (electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, welding, and conveyor systems), repairing equipment to sustain continuous production, diagnosing issues with production staff, setting up/breaking down production line machinery, interpreting equipment drawings, conducting visual inspections, performing preventive maintenance and tests, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements, completing tasks per procedures and safety regulations, keeping the area clean and secure, maintaining documentation, and participating in special projects while upholding a positive attendance record. Requires ability to read manuals, communicate effectively with staff and management, basic computer skills, and willingness to work all shifts with overtime; minimum of one year industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively to all employees and management to resolve mechanical failures
- Must be able to read manuals in order to repair equipment safely
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be available to work all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and be available for overtime
- Minimum of one (1) year of industrial maintenance experience preferred
