Job Summary
Conduct general maintenance and repair of facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment. Perform routine inspections to identify issues and complete preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot problems and coordinate with Operations and Engineering teams for equipment installations and utility connections. Source and manage external vendors for specialized services, scheduling and inspecting contractor work to ensure compliance with safety and cGMP standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment schematics while preparing reports on facility performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in the pharmaceutical cGMP environment
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certificate, vocational training, military technical training, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Maintenance, Mechatronics, HVAC, Facilities Maintenance, or a related technical field
- OSHA safety training
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training
- Ability to complete and maintain cGMP and facility safety training requirements
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with established procedures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to support continuous improvement initiatives and drive quality-focused process enhancements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Quality, Operations, and Production teams
