Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic Technician role focused on troubleshooting and repairing rotating and reciprocating equipment; analyze malfunctions; participate in Root Cause Analysis; lead or participate in the site Preventative Maintenance Plan; ensure safe work practices and housekeeping; operate aerial lifts and forklifts as needed; support minor mechanical design and project work as well as turnarounds; provide work direction to contractor crews; uphold safety and environmental stewardship; ensure procedures are valid and up-to-date.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma is required
- Mechanical maintenance education or experience such as millwright, machinist, or mechanical repair in a chemical, refining, or industrial plant
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs
- Must be able to wear a respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be able to take call-ins and work overtime hours
