Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairing hydraulics, small engines, pumps, processing equipment, machinery, automobiles, forklifts, and ice plants. Key responsibilities include observing and dismantling mechanical devices to identify issues, testing and repairing equipment, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Candidates must have two years of mechanical experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Physical demands include regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and working in cold, wet, and noisy conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of mechanical experience and/or training
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to speak, read and understand basic English and numbers
- Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations
