Job Summary
Perform daily inspections of conveyors to ensure efficient operation and respond immediately to malfunctions through visual or auditory assessment. Diagnose and repair defective shafts, bearings, sprockets, and motors while coordinating replacement parts with the Manager. Execute scheduled maintenance on PIT equipment, HVAC systems, and fire room components, including resetting heating units and replacing filters. Utilize hand and powered tools to fix dented storage racks, replace lighting, and address minor electrical issues on balers and strappers. Operate forklifts and trucks to move office furniture and prepare surfaces for painting.

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required, to include shift rotation
- Ability to work safely with and around 24 Volt, 110 Volts and 480 Volt electrical systems

- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret technical reference manuals, wiring diagrams
- Ability to work within a team atmosphere
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems

- Maintenance/mechanical experience
- 2 years proven experience
- Must be able to obtain license to operate all powered equipment within ninety (90) days
- Ability to use a variety of hand and powered tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Capable of working on various repairs independently
- Ability to respond to emergencies anytime day or night
- Must have own tools
- Experience repairing and performing preventative maintenance on PIT equipment
- Experience with Raymond and Toyota PIT equipment
- Must be able to read and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Must be experienced with the use of a multimeter
- Must be able to lift occasional medium heavy and frequent medium heavy
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, walk, stand, and climb
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends for the needs of the business
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required, to include shift rotation
