Job Summary
Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial equipment including motors, drives, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and related systems. Execute preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and fabrication/welding to maintain and improve equipment reliability. Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators while demonstrating proper lubrication and oiling. Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and lockout/tagout procedures. Requires 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing repairing drives, gear reducers, and belt-driven devices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment performing mechanical maintenance
- experience repairing drives, gear and speed reducers, pumps, and belt driven devices
- ability to utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, squares/combo, protractors, dividers, dial indicators, and tape measure
- experience with hydraulics & pneumatics
- demonstrate proper lubrication and oiling on equipment
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
- field welding ability
