Maintenance Mechanic

Perform all phases of mechanical maintenance throughout the plant, safely and effectively. Responsibilities include preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance on equipment (welding, piping, rebuilding), conducting predictive analysis, identifying and repairing malfunctions, documenting issues and resolutions, performing fire guard duty and confined space watch, participating in training programs, supervising contract workers as needed, and maintaining tools. Requires ability to read manuals, instruction sheets, and drawings in English; ability to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call duty, and emergency call-ins; strong emphasis on safety and the use of powered equipment (forklifts, manlifts) and hand tools; physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in potentially hazardous environments.
