Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor responsible for supervising mechanics, implementing and monitoring the Preventative Maintenance program, training staff, managing parts inventory, coordinating with Production to minimize downtime, enforcing safety, and driving continuous improvement across maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college, or technical school or 5 years related experience working in a Engineering Mechanical Maintenance Department
- Must understand electrical and pneumatic schematics and other critical maintenance documentation
- Must have thorough working knowledge of all machinery and equipment in the facility
- Must have prior experience working as a Supervisor/Lead directing, motivating, and training maintenance mechanics
- Must have the ability to coordinate, schedule and plan all maintenance activities to all affected departments
