Job Summary
Oversee equipment, patient care, and sustainability by interpreting policies, distributing work assignments, and directing workflow to ensure timely completion. Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, read blueprints to locate trouble areas, and shut down equipment for scheduled repairs. Provide guidance to maintenance mechanics while practicing under the supervision of a licensed professional. Requires ten years of experience in building maintenance with supportive licensure or twenty years in competency areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or steam control. Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed skilled, trained and certified in one of the competency areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, steam control, and related building systems and equipment
- Minimum of ten years of experience in building maintenance with supportive licensure or degree in building maintenance
- 20 years of experience in one or more of the competency areas
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Insurable driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
