Maintenance Mechanic Specialist

Job Summary
Oversee equipment, patient care, and sustainability by assigning work orders, scheduling staff, and directing workflow to ensure timely completion. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to locate trouble spots and perform accurate repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and steam control systems. Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment while monitoring staff output to maintain efficiency. Review organizational policies to ensure consistent practices across the team. Requires three years of building maintenance experience or certification in a specific competency area, plus a valid Georgia driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Skilled, trained and certified in one of the competency areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, steam control, and related building systems and equipment
- Certification and proven competency required in area of competency identified
- Associates Degree or two years experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in building maintenance OR 10 ten years of experience in one of the competency areas
- Positions in this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record
- Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist
