Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic needed to maintain, repair and install industrial machinery, refrigeration, electrical and mechanical systems in a food processing plant. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance with CMMS documentation, fabricating parts on lathes/milling machines, welding or soldering as required, and maintaining and improving equipment reliability toward OEE goals. Must interpret blueprints and schematics, understand electrical wiring, PLC, VFD and motor control, follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures, and work with packaging equipment. Requires use of standard and specialized tools, collaboration across the organization, and strong safety adherence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Basic to advanced electrical knowledge
