Job Summary
Maintain tractors and trailers while performing equipment inspections and keeping shop areas safe and clean. Execute other duties as assigned, including diesel engine repair and mechanical maintenance. Must possess Air brake certification, own tools, and hold a CDL with HAZMAT and Tank Endorsements; tank experience is desired. One year of maintenance and repair experience is preferred. This role supports the logistics and trucking operations of Ergon in Richland, MS, reporting directly to the Shop Foreman.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Good communication skills
- Air brake certified
- Must have own tools
- Employment offer contingent upon pre-employment drug test

- Employment offer contingent upon MVR
Desired Qualifications
- Preference of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair
- Tank experience
- CDL with HAZMAT & Tank Endorsements
- Knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year
