Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic responsible for planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems in an industrial disposal process. Responsibilities include executing preventive maintenance per schedule, performing root-cause analysis of breakdowns and line stoppages, prioritizing work to minimize downtime, opening/closing work orders and managing spare parts in the company CMMS, and inspecting/repairing machinery to meet safety and performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule
- Physical ability to lift/carry 50lbs
- Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
