Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic on the night shift at Quality Harvest Foods responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic tools, and production machinery; troubleshoot, install, align, disassemble, repair, and maintain industrial machinery to restore or improve reliability and uptime. Emphasizes safety, OSHA compliance, PPE, and adherence to 5S and Hazardous Materials procedures; documents actions and communicates with teams; uses CMMS, reads schematics/drawings/manuals, and operates within quality standards. Requires ability to read technical manuals, lift up to 50 lb regularly (up to 70 lb occasionally), and willingness to work varying shifts including weekends/overtime; LME license holders receive additional compensation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical manuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
