Job Summary

Install, maintain, and repair all furnaces, electrical systems, and mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, piping, refrigeration, and chemical systems using diagrams, blueprints, and welding equipment. Perform preventive maintenance inspections on meters, gauges, filters, lubrication levels, and furnace mechanisms while documenting all work. Fabricate tanks, fixtures, and conveyors; lay out and install piping systems; and move equipment and office supplies using forklifts, hoists, and hand trucks. Travel to meetings and training sessions, which may include overnight stays. Requires a high school diploma, two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, and forklift certification.
