Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic responsible for safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units in the Greater Ipoh Area. Tasks include servicing, replacements, repairs, and troubleshooting in accordance with the maintenance program and work schedule; reporting abnormal findings to supervisor/engineer; ensuring all work is documented with a customer-acknowledged job-sheet; responding promptly to breakdown callbacks (including 24-hour standby when required); focus on man-trap safety; performs other duties as assigned by supervision. Requires basic electrical/electronic/mechanical knowledge and at least 3 years of elevator/lift/escalator experience, the ability to work independently, customer-facing skills, and a valid motorcycle license; employed by Otis, a global elevator and escalator leader, with emphasis on safety, ethics, and quality. The role may include training opportunities, equipment familiarity, and collaboration with engineers and technicians.
