Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic role focused on safely maintaining elevator and escalator units across Selayang and Sungai Besi, with duties including servicing, parts replacement, repairs, troubleshooting, reporting abnormal findings with job-sheets, attending breakdown callbacks (priority on man-trap situations), and performing other duties as instructed by Supervisors/Engineers. Requires basic electrical/electronic/mechanical knowledge, around 2 years of relevant experience, the ability to work independently, comfort with customers, and a valid motorcycle license. The position offers long-term employment with Otis, training, and a global-scale support network.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum SPM, preferably with technical certificate
- Basic Electrical, Electronic and/or Mechanical knowledge
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Familiar with elevator/lift and escalator operation
- Able to trouble shoot and solve technical problem
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Customer interaction ability
- Valid motorcycle license
