Job Summary
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment, including set-up, preventive maintenance, and diagnosing processing issues. Utilize a computer-based inventory system to generate reports for locating spare parts while adhering to all safety rules and regulations. Assist maintenance and production staff as needed, maintain designated areas for safety and cleanliness, and perform other related duties as required. Own and safely use necessary tools.
Required Qualifications
- Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills including mechanical, electrical and PLC programming
- Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3 + years technician experience within Plastics industry
- Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively
- Be flexible with the schedule as needed
- Utilizes mandatory safety equipment
- Executes duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations
