Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift

Job Summary
Oversee warehouse equipment and facility maintenance, including repairing electric order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and automated storage systems. Monitor performance, troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and conduct scheduled inspections to meet nightly production goals. Assemble equipment, perform general repairs on roofs, flooring, and plumbing, and maintain parts inventory while updating repair logs. Utilize technical manuals and blueprints to resolve equipment failures, ensuring a safe environment that adheres to OSHA regulations. Work Monday through Thursday starting at 3:00 PM, with additional hours possible during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years experience in a distribution environment
- in-depth knowledge of conveyor systems
- knowledge of facilities equipment
- Forklift certification
- heavy equipment operation skills
- Ability to troubleshoot automatic controls
- Ability to troubleshoot 480 volts 3 phase electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems
- Capable of managing stressful and high-pressure situations
- Capable of managing extreme sense of urgency to repair items in an emergency
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking
