Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment at our milk facility. Troubleshoot and identify malfunctions, inspect defective parts, and fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools. Follow diagrams, manuals, and specifications for repairs while measuring and adjusting part dimensions. Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, complete daily maintenance paperwork, and prepare equipment setups. Collaborate with production teams to address issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Work in a safe, clean environment following all procedures and regulations. Based in San Leandro, CA, with a starting salary of $41.73 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing
- At least 1 year of experience with mechanical/electrical repair
- Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints
- Ability to lift 50lbs. and work in noisy environments
Desired Qualifications
- LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred
- EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred
- Basic PLC knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills
- Forklift or powered equipment experience preferred
